Create a Patient Folder
Collaborative cases are managed and stored within HIPAA compliant patient collaboration folders. Patient collaboration folders may be edited, but cannot be deleted from the ddsWebLink system. Once a patient folder is established, you are ready to start sending and/or receiving cases for that patient.
- From the main dashboard, select Create a New Patient Folder from within the Shortcuts section on the right
- Enter the patients name and contact information
- Provide the last four digits of the patients social security number
- Make note of any medical or dental health issues
- Indicate patients primary insurance carrier
- Click Save to complete the Create a Patient Folder process
