Create a Patient Folder

Collaborative cases are managed and stored within HIPAA compliant patient collaboration folders. Patient collaboration folders may be edited, but cannot be deleted from the ddsWebLink system. Once a patient folder is established, you are ready to start sending and/or receiving cases for that patient.

  • From the main dashboard, select Create a New Patient Folder from within the Shortcuts section on the right
  • Enter the patient’s name and contact information
  • Provide the last four digits of the patient’s social security number
  • Make note of any medical or dental health issues
  • Indicate patient’s primary insurance carrier
  • Click Save to complete the Create a Patient Folder process
