Create a Referral Case
Referral cases may be created directly from the Case Manager or from within a patients collaboration folder. For demonstration purposes, a patient referral will be initiated from the Case Manager. Creating a referral in the ddsWebLink system takes less than 2 minutes and opens a new case file that can be tracked, monitored and managed from start to finish.
- From the main dashboard, select Create a New Referral Case from within the Shortcuts section on the right
- Indicate case type
- Locate the appropriate patient collaboration folder
- Select the dentist or dental specialist to whom the patient is being referred
- Indicate files, documents or images to be shared
- Select tooth or teeth affected
- Choose the treatment type required
- Include pertinent notes or instructions
- Set alert notifications
- Send completed patient referral
